Apprenticeships Suffolk now offer further 121 support for those who want to gain employability skills in order to progress into an apprenticeship opportunity with confidence.
Inspire will be delivering the Pathway to Apprenticeships project. Their employment coaches will be able to provide regular and tailored 121 support to enable you to reach your goals and be ready for the world of work.
Participants who refer into the Apprenticeships Suffolk project will have an initial call with our Participant Advisor to establish their needs, current circumstances and any barriers they may have into employment. Once their needs have been established Apprenticeships Suffolk will provide a warm handover to an allocated Inspire Work Coach to continue with 121 support and mentoring by setting goals and continued work with the individual to become employment ready. This service will support individuals with basic skills, confidence, employability skills, well-being and any other barriers preventing them from progressing into a sustainable apprenticeship opportunity.
This person-centred project is individualistic and the amount of support required is tailored to the individuals needs and circumstances. Once the individual feels employment ready and ready to take on their next steps into an apprenticeship or work opportunity they we will re-engage with Apprenticeships Suffolk who will continue their support throughout the apprenticeship journey. This will ensure individuals remain supported into Education, Employment or Training and confidence within the world of work.
Pathway to Apprenticeships aims to address any barriers to the creation of quality apprenticeships and allows us to continue supporting individuals not quite ready for their apprenticeship.
If you are interested in the apprenticeship pathway or would like to find out more about Pathway to Apprenticeships please contact us at: apprenticeships@suffolk.gov.uk or speak to our Participant Advisor about next steps.
